Today we had a cybersmart lesson where we learned about copyright law. You cant just use other peoples images with permission.  you use free-to-use images you still need to attribute them. The best way is to draw you own images, because then you can use them for anything you like.

Embedding learning into our Blogs

There are lots of different types of digital learning objects we embed into our blogs on a daily basis.

My favourite thing to share on my blog is writing

The easiest learning to share is my writing in Google Docs, simply just Copy and Paste it from the Google Doc onto your blog. However, don’t forget to use CTRL + SHIFT + V so that it gets rid of the formatting. You can always change the formatting on your blog.

School value superhero: integrity

Integrity is defined as being truthful and having a strong sense of right and wrong.


Krista, my best friend, is my school's value superhero. Integrity is her superpower.

Integrity is a friend or family member you can confide in and share your secrets to.

Tell someone. Someone who is there for you when you are at your worst.


I recall being hit by someone and she being around at the time.

I wasn't crying, but she was present when I was hurt.

 

My advice to our teachers

My advice for our teachers
Explain Procedures and Expectations with your students so they get an understanding of what they need to work on and know what their consequences are.

How You Treat Students Matters because some students might have a hard time at home and you might not know what’s going on. When you say just build a bridge and get over it, it’s not that easy for us and I know most teachers have a hard time doing work and other things.

You Don’t Know Every Kid’s Home Life because some of them think like you’re going to tell our classmates or like our parents but some parents might have a different reaction.

Keep Your Sense of Humor like keep being funny and helpful, because it’s very pleasant.

Socializing with Colleagues Is Good for You.

The best teachers are always looking for new ways to learn and improve. You will get more kindness and respect [we should do it anyways]. Consider your class as family like you always do.

Kahoot math

Our class played kahoot today, which was a lot of fun because we got to practice math while having a good time, plus our teacher is awesome. Cory, Chele, and DJ were the winners of the kahoot.
